a) When you place an order

Name, email address, shipping address, and order details (products, quantities, price). Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe — see Section 4 — and is never stored on our own systems.

b) When you subscribe to recurring orders

In addition to the order information above: phone number (optional), subscription frequency and billing schedule, and a reference identifier linking your subscription to your Stripe payment method. We do not store your card number — only Stripe holds that.

Managing your subscription: if you don't have your Subscription ID on hand, we verify your identity using at least 2 of the following 3 details already on file for your subscription: phone number, postal code, and street address. These are the same fields collected at signup — this verification step does not collect any new information, it simply confirms your identity using what we already have before showing you your subscription details.

If you cancel a subscription and provide a reason, that reason is stored as you wrote it.

c) When you submit a product review

Your name and email address. Only your name is displayed publicly alongside your review; your email is retained for verification purposes and is never published or shared.

e) If you contact us via WhatsApp, SMS, or Messenger

These are third-party messaging platforms (Meta/WhatsApp, your mobile carrier, Meta/Messenger) — conversations through them are governed by that platform's own privacy policy, not this one, since Prime Mane does not receive or store that conversation data on our own systems.

We use the information above to:

• Process and fulfill your orders and subscriptions
• Communicate with you about your order (confirmations, shipping updates, subscription billing notices)
• Display your review (name only) if you choose to leave one
• Understand how the Site is used, but only if you've given analytics consent (see Section 6)
• Meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently run advertising, so no information is shared for ad-targeting purposes at this time — if that changes, this policy and our cookie categories will be updated accordingly.

We only share what's necessary to run the business, and only with the following:

We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

We keep order, subscription, and payment-related records for as long as required under Canadian tax and business record-keeping law (generally up to 6 years, per CRA requirements), even if you later request account deletion, since we're legally obligated to retain financial records for that period.

Product reviews are kept indefinitely unless you request removal.

Cookie consent records are retained as an anonymous log (see Section 6) with no direct link to your identity.

We use three categories of cookies:

• Necessary — required for the Site to function (shopping cart, checkout session, security). These cannot be turned off, and don't require your consent, since the Site cannot operate without them.
• Analytics (Google Analytics) — helps us understand which pages are useful. Off by default. Only activates if you explicitly opt in.
• Marketing — reserved for future use if we run advertising campaigns. Off by default. Not currently in active use.

You can view or change your cookie choices at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page.

How your choice is recorded: your preference is stored in your own browser, and a record of the choice (timestamp, categories accepted, and an anonymous, randomly-generated session identifier — never your name or email) is logged on our servers as proof that consent was properly requested and given. This log cannot be searched by name or email — only by that anonymous identifier, which lives in your own browser. If you'd like us to look up your specific consent record, you can retrieve that identifier from your browser and provide it to us at the contact in Section 11; without it, we have no way to connect a log entry to a specific individual.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Quebec's Law 25, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations (Section 5)
• Withdraw consent at any time, including cookie consent (Section 6) or, if applicable, marketing email consent
• Request that we stop disseminating personal information about you online, where applicable under Law 25

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe under their PCI-DSS compliant systems and is never stored on our own servers.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some of the third parties listed in Section 4 (notably Stripe) may process your information outside of Canada, including in the United States. Our email service provider, IONOS, may also route or store your email address outside of Canada depending on their own server infrastructure and operational logistics. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws than Canada.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting cookie categories will also reset stored cookie consent, so you'll be asked again under the updated terms.
